Direct mountain sunlight doesn't hide flaws - which is why factory-level paint matching is an art form we take seriously.

Blending modern clear coats and matching complex factory colors takes more than standard tools; it requires expert precision, exact calibration, and a trained eye. When your vehicle leaves our shop in Eagle, the goal is seamless beauty from every angle.

From September 1st through May 31st, Colorado's Traction Law is active on I-70 from Dotsero to Morrison. 2-wheel drive requires chains or approved alternatives. 4-wheel drive must have mud-and-snow, winter or certified all-weather tires

⚠️Importantly: All tires must also have at least 3/16” tread depth!

How much is 3/16”? If you don’t have a tire tread depth gauge, you can estimate with the penny trick: Turn the penny so that Lincoln’s head points down into the tread. If the top of his head disappears between the ribs, your tread in that area is still ok.

With the penny being less available, the quarter test measures a safer, deeper tread threshold of 4/32 of an inch instead of the penny's critical legal limit of 2/32 of an inch. Hold quarter upside down with Washington’s head facing you and pointing down into the tread groove. If the tread covers part of Washington’s head (down to his hair or forehead), your tread depth is above 4/32” and still has good life for wet or winter weather.

Colorado's summer sun can take a toll on your vehicle.

Whenever possible, park in the shade or use a windshield sunshade to help protect your dashboard, seats, and interior trim. Over time, UV exposure can cause fading, cracking, and premature wear.

The sun can also affect your vehicle's exterior. If your car already has chipped, scratched, or damaged paint, prolonged exposure can make those issues worse.

At Alpine Collision, we use a precision refinishing process to carefully match your vehicle's paint and restore a durable, high-quality finish that looks great for years to come.

As a new school year begins, our roads become a little busier and a little more unpredictable. Please slow down, watch for children crossing the street, obey school zone speed limits, and always stop for school buses.

A few extra seconds of caution can help keep every student safe. Here's to a great and safe start to the school year! 🚸🚌

Does warm weather make for a better paint job?

It's a common question, but the answer might surprise you.

While some collision shops are affected by outdoor temperatures, we aren't. Every vehicle we paint is refinished inside our professional, temperature-controlled paint booth, where both the application and curing process are carefully managed year-round.

Whether it's the middle of Summer or the middle of Winter, our team delivers the same consistent, high-quality finish. No matter the season, your vehicle receives the same level of care, precision, and craftsmanship.
