Don Scharf Automotive Inc. a family run business since 1974 is looking for a Dismantler to join our team. The Dismantler will be responsible for identifying and removing inventory from complete vehicles in the shop
Responsibilities
Identify and remove inventoried parts from vehicles
Transport vehicles to & from the shop on & off rack.
Inspect parts on vehicles to ensure it is in good quality, before removing it from the vehicle
Identify and remove items from vehicles, including metal, tires, and other parts
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other tasks as assigned by management
We are willing to train anyone for this position with weekly bonuses possible if you hit your dismantling mark.
Experience
Knowledge of vehicle dismantling techniques, will train as needed.
Knowledge of tire removal techniques a plus
Knowledge of scrapyard operations a plus
Experience operating a forklift is a plus! We have an experienced shop mechanic on staff who can train you to operate forklifts.
Job Type: Full-time
Must have own tools and will be able to purchase them as needed through the various tool trucks that stop in weekly.
Pay: Pay per performance is how we will end up but will start the position at $16-$18 an hour for a 3 month period. (wages are negotiable based on performance)
This is a great position for a car enthusiast starting in the industry to gain more education and experience needed to make the most of the pay per performance rate. Additional pay incentives will also be offered
This is a great opportunity to show initiative and receive raises based on performance.

Don Scharf Automotive, Inc is looking for a warehouse attendant to help stock and load parts. This duty also includes building pallets for stocking engines, transmissions and transfer cases and making sure that all returned and new parts are in their correct locations. This is a Monday through Friday, 8-5 job. No experience is necessary will train. Please message if interested.
We are also looking for a small scale attendant. This job entails helping scrap customers with the product the bring in, loading all scrap trucks for shipping our products and preparing all metal for shipping. Please message if interested.
