🔥 ONE LAKE. FOUR SPECIES. ONE INCREDIBLE MORNING. 🔥

Christina and Michael set out on Eagle Nest Lake this morning hoping for a good day…

I’d say they found it.

A beautiful 21-inch Rainbow Trout weighing 3 pounds, 14 ounces, a feisty 24-inch Northern Pike, plus perch and salmon to round out an incredible mixed bag!
That’s one of the things that makes Eagle Nest Lake so special.
You never know what might be on the other end of your line.
One cast could bring in a trophy rainbow… the next could be a hard-fighting northern pike.
Days like this keep anglers coming back.

Another successful morning on Eagle Nest Lake! 🎣

Tim Meador put together one heck of a mixed bag today, and you can tell by the smiles that the fun started long before the fish hit the cleaning table.
Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout, and even a nice Perch… that’s a morning well spent!

But as much as we appreciate great catches, we appreciate great people even more.
Tim was an absolute pleasure to have around. Easygoing, respectful, and the kind of guest every small business is grateful to welcome. Those are the folks who make long days worth every minute.

Thanks for spending your morning with us, Tim. We truly enjoyed having you, and we’re glad Eagle Nest Lake treated you right.

Here’s to good people, tight lines, and memories that last a whole lot longer than the fillets. We hope to see you back on the water soon! 🎣🏔️💙

🦌🎣 Today’s fishing report…

Fish: Still biting.
Deer: Apparently they wanted in on the action too.

Scott sent these from the lake this morning after his guests had a front-row seat to an unexpected wildlife show. A small bachelor group of mule deer wandered right down to the shoreline for a morning drink and didn’t seem to mind the boat one bit.

One of the best parts about spending a morning on Eagle Nest Lake is that you never know what you’re going to see. Sometimes it’s a trophy trout. Sometimes it’s wildlife putting on a show. And if you’re lucky… you get both.

I’d say these fellas were just checking to see if anyone was willing to share their breakfast. 😂

There are mornings that remind you exactly why you get up before sunrise. 🌄

The air was cool, the lake was like glass, and the mountains reflected perfectly off the water.
It was one of those Eagle Nest mornings you wish you could bottle up.

Jay Hull experienced it firsthand on a guided trip with Scott, and to top it all off, he landed this beautiful 21½” Rainbow Trout weighing 3 pounds!

Not every memorable fishing trip is about breaking records. Sometimes it’s about soaking in a perfect morning, feeling that unmistakable tug on the line, and heading back to the dock with a smile and a fish worth bragging about.

🚨 NOW THAT’S A LUNKER! 🚨

Marcos Maestas from Dixon put an absolute giant in the net yesterday evening!

This Eagle Nest Lake Rainbow Trout stretched the tape to an incredible 28 inches… and just look at the shoulders on that fish!

You can fish a lifetime and never land one quite like this.

Congratulations, Marcos, on a fish you’ll be talking about for years to come.
That’s not just a good trout—that’s the kind that gets everyone’s attention at the boat ramp.

Eagle Nest Lake has been showing off lately, and this beauty is just more proof that there are some true giants swimming these waters.

🎣 That’s what we call a GOOD morning on Eagle Nest Lake.

Trey’s crew hit the water with Scott this morning and flat-out got after it.

The haul speaks for itself, but two fish stood above the rest.
One stretching 21 inches at 3 pounds and another hammering the scale at 22 inches and 4 pounds. Absolute tanks.

And just look at that mess of trout laid out on the table… that’s the kind of day folks hope for when they launch at first light.

Some days you grind for bites.
Some days the lake just decides to show off.

Today was one of those days.

Big congratulations to Trey and the crew on a heck of a trip. That’s a cooler full of memories right there. 👏🐟

🎣 Some folks just know how to get it done.

Lenny B hit the water this morning and came back with a beauty!
A 23” Rainbow Trout tipping the scales at 3.25 pounds!

That’s a fine Eagle Nest fish any day of the week.

The lake is still producing, the bite is still strong, and mornings like this are reminding everyone why Eagle Nest stays on the map for summer fishing.

One cast can change your whole day.

Jerry Wood and his daughter put together one heck of a day on Eagle Nest Lake with guide Trent Richey!

The fish were biting, the weather was beautiful, and by the time they hit shore, the table was stacked with a fine mess of trout—proof that patience, good company, and a great guide can make for an unforgettable day.

There’s something special about time spent on the water.
No distractions, no rush… just good conversation, tight lines, and memories being made one fish at a time.

🔥 KOKANEE ARE SHOWING OFF! 🔥

Grayson Kite put his hands on a dandy today on Eagle Nest Lake!

This beautiful Kokanee Salmon measured 20 inches and weighed in at a solid 3 pounds!
Prior that Eagle Nest Lake is producing some absolute quality fish right now.

There’s something special about reeling in a fish like that. That’s a memory that’ll stick long after the fillets are gone.

The bite has been strong, the fish are healthy, and the stories keep getting better every day.
