Big Moose Shootout

We really hoped the conditions would improve. It looked promising there for a bit, but it just wasn't meant to be this year (yet again). Because the ice conditions have been inconsistent and getting on and off the lakes has been a challenge, we felt that for the safety of the participants and spectators it was best to cancel this event. Stay tuned we are already starting to look at dates for next season and hope we'll have a few opportunities for snow drags as well.
(Anyone who purchased tickets in advance will be refunded if you were charged.)

One week until our annual Vintage Snowmobile Show:

Couple of things to know:
If you would like to register a sled for the show, you can do so at Duffy's at the Glenmore or the Big Moose Inn starting Friday, February 21st

Entry: $5 per sled, with a cap of $20 for 4 or more sleds

Spectator Fee: Complimentary (donations for show set up and tear down appreciated)

1969 - 79 Trail Sled - original:
1969 - 79 Trail Sled - restored:
1980 - 90 Trail Sled - original:

Parking: You may park on Big Moose Rd (lakeside), please only park on the one side (that is the right side of the road, if you're coming up from Eagle Bay). No parking on Glenmore Rd.

The event will be held on the ice on Big Moose Lake. Concessions stands will be avaialble (if anyone has a pop-up tent you would be willing to lend us for the show, please PM Patrick Duffy or Mark J. Mayer)
