Make sure your tires are ready for spring roads!

Don't just look at your tires before jumping on the bike for your first ride this year, inspect them like a pro!

Tread Depth: Use a dedicated gauge for the "penny test." If the tread is level with the Wear Indicators (TWI)—those small bridges inside the grooves—replace them immediately.

Pressure: Check this when the tires are cold. Even a 2-3 PSI drop can drastically change how a heavy cruiser handles in a corner. Check your owners manual and make sure your tires meet the specs.

Objects: Look for nails, glass, or any other road debris leftover from last season. Sometimes a puncture won't cause an immediate flat but will fail at highway speeds.

​Cracks/Dry Rot: Check the sidewalls for "checking" or small cracks, especially if the bike sits outside. This indicates the rubber compounds are breaking down.
