I am happy but sad. Bay yearling stallion, MHS All That Pizzazz left for his new home in California with Richard Gearheart this morning. Chestnut gelding, MHS Gwyn Taliesin, is now in Ohio with his new owner, Ann Petersen. Both are by Gwynfaes Culhwch and out of full Jazz sisters, MHS Gypsy Jazz and MHS All That Jazz. It is so sad to say goodbye to them, but these are 5 STAR homes. Pizzazzwill be living at the same place that his sister MHS Michelle My Belle is. Hopefully those two will ultimately become a driving pair.

Castleberrys Rebelle may have to go to MHS Jumpin Jack Flash next spring. He is * Gwynfaes Culhwch x MHS All that Jazz (full subling to MHS Rhythm and Blues) I love his movement and everything about him, but we’ll see how he fills out in the next year. He’s been kind of underweight up till now. I know I should stick with the known quantity of R&B and Reba, but we don’t have too many that we can actually breed JJ Flash to here. Dragonfly and Reba are about it. If we were younger, we would get some more mares. We may offer him at stud at an introductory price next year. Fresh and frozen he is right there with rhythm and blues at about 85 to 90% motility fresh and about 75% frozen . Ooh, challenging his Uncle! The gauntlet has been dropped!

A little RNB warmup. He and Rachel were in 2nd place out of 17 entrants after the dressage and arena jumping. They took 6th in the competition. His first time out for the three day event, so we are very pleased. He is such a heart throb. Lots of fan girls at the competition, equine and human!

Poor little baby Zella managed to get herself out of the paddock where her mom and auntie and cousin are. We came up just before dark and saw that she was not in with them and was on the other side of the fence. She was so traumatized. She wanted to be loved all over once we got her back in with mom.

Ooooh, itchy, scratchy, sparkly golden boy!

I’ve got so much going on. I can’t remember who our mares are bred to for next year. So I will write it down here and now and then I can refer back. Probably all of these foals will be available.

MHS Jumpin Jack Flash (4 yo stallion, Gwynfaes Culhwch x MHS All That Jazz) is home from some basic training. He and Emily Wickes are going to be a golden pair, I think. JJ is a bit svelte, but healthy.
