Do i know anyone in Dunnellon looking for/interested in a bartender job?

Lol this one had me scratching my head... still scratching to be honest, but it was quitting time. Ill be coming at it later. Either bad injector, or the circuit is being pulled down, either way, I finally have a direction to follow. 3T’s Mobile Automotive Repair, lol what you thinking? I found it finally due to checking fuel pulse. We had checked fuel pulse, pressure and spark to start with. But all showed through, then checked the strength of spark, and that was weak, so changed coil pack, no change. Then plugs and wires. Plugs lived their life for sure. Still no change. Check fuel filter, it was filthy, but I've seen worse functional. Changed it for arguments sake. I was literally making a list of things we'd done for the customer at the moment we discovered it so he could get it to someone that might be able to figure it out lol... I will say the noid light seemed brighter when we were trying to start it vs after it had been running a while.

Have i mentioned that I love working on this car? I love classics. Just needed to do the booster, but we did the master and the metering/proportioning valve assembly for good measure. The brakes have been updated to a disc conversion by wilwood, and we didn't know if the master was meant for them or not, so we found a set up specifically meant for disc upgrades. The booster was a pain to get right, but because its olschool, everything on the pushrod assembly is adjustable, so it was alot of back and forth fitting it just right, and adjusting everything to a perfect spot. It all turned out perfect though. Bled up great, and the brakes weren't locking up due to improper adjustment of the booster. Just a good day.

As a mechanic, a husband, and a father... It is merely a matter of time before i need to work on my own vehicles, or my wife's... lol. I'd known for a time that the timing needed to be done as with every start up, you could hear the chain slapping around. It became time to change it out when it wouldn't let the wife drive, and would frequently shut off. So new vvt solenoids, vvt sprockets, chains, tensioners, timing cover, crank seal, and valve cover gaskets. We did the oil pan for good measure. Now it sounds great, drives like new again, and its quiet lol. Best of all, my wife is quieter these days, there's less to say when her car isn't broken lololol. Love you! Mua!(if I end up on a milk carton... worth it)

Lol I wasn't there for this gem, but I swear I could hear lewis cussing while he changed out this pump. Lol thankfully the customer supplied the old hidey hole in the bed. Made this a bit simpler.

When you are chasing a problem working on your vehicle, please give ALL the information you have. This customer asked me to figure out why its a no start, and they had been trying to do all the work themselves. I started with trying to start it, nothing. Checked battery voltage, it was good. Started to check terminals for connection, and found this fuse popped. It supplies the starter. Looked for the starter and found it was brand new. I finally took a good look at the terminal noticing it was oem, and brand new, but the new fuse is popped still. I thought about it for a moment and checked the oil, and though dark, it had oil. After all this, and some thought. I called the customer and spoke of my findings, and he reminded me that they originally called because they were on their way to an oil change when it shut off while driving. They ended up doing the oil change on the side of the road to no avail. They got it home and called me for an appointment after they had tried replacing the starter, and the terminal 3 times. Hearing all of this in immediately got a socket onto the harmonic balancer bolt and it would not budge. Motor was toast. My whole point in drawing out all the details of this post is because these people were more than capable of doing that. If I had heard all that, I'd have told them to check it, and saved them that money. I hate taking money to tell people their motor is smoked. Anyway, I genuinely wish yall the best. If you work on your own stuff, text me. I might be able to help you out, and save you some money.

People... for the love of God. GET A PREPURCHASE INSPECTION! This was just an obvious issue we finally found due to sag. We have also found unrepaired items that were marked replaced/repaired like an electronic power steering rack, and a control arm that was loose because the bolt had backed out all the way. The only reason it wasn't lost all together was because you literally need to drop the k member to remove it. Thank God, because the bolt wore a hell of a dent in the subframe. Yall. She bought it from a buy here/pay here... I don't care who's selling it. Get a prepuchase inspection. Save yourself headaches for the future.

This was from a 2016 jeep grand cherokee. It has a 2 piece rear driveshaft. The rear piece has 6 of these bolts, and 3 of the flanges holding the 2 together. My customer had 2 bolts and 2 flanges left hanging from it when I found it. Here's the kicker. The drive shafts(come with new bolts), are on national back order, and you cant even find the bolts, or flanges by themselves at any jeep/dodge/Chrysler dealer anywhere. I ended up having to find the bolts at an online fastener specialist site, and then the flanges i had a machinist in Ocala make up for me. But about 180 in specialty bolts, and custom made flanges, we got it back together.

I don't mind if you supply your own parts. Just expect the results you paid for on that front. That being said, this happens too. You get the wrong part sent to you. Be as sure as possible its right before you call us out. Because our time needs to be paid for. In this instance we only charge a diagnostic fee, and make sure you find the right part. We can arrange another time for the repair.

This one's not done yet, but we're cleaning it up bit by bit. This was a huge relief to do. All those extra wires... were in there to supply the headlights and bumper l.e.d.'s. All of it was completely unnecessary or useless. Also installed the new intake. It didn't have anything when we came across it at first. We've done alot more to this, but i haven't got photos, so maybe one day I'll have more on it.
