VW syncro Doka Tristar Restoration. when it comes to Vangon Restoration, you really can’t get any deeper than this. This poor truck had seen more salty roads and its early life and was in serious need of a full Restoration. This truck has been acid dipped, that has stripped all the paint and all the rust off the body. All that was remaining was was solid, steel and holes where the metal had turned into rust. Now we are on the reconstruction of the body. To save this one we decided to graft the entire rear section from a donor van and Custom fabricate/weld this into this Tristar. Things are coming along nicely and we should be making good progress in the near future so keep watching.

Something a bit different for TW

We are finally making some great progress on this Hi Top, Pop top Conversion. It’s the best of both worlds, you can stand up inside, but the top is not so high that you worry about knocking it off. This handmade headliner and Custom made canvas shows this thing off. We can’t wait to see this good looking rig going down the road. #

Just a few things happening here at TW

We love the TW headlights. The outers are DOT certified and super high quality. The projection pattern is designed to help prevent glare on the on coming traffic. The inner are lights for those super dark offroad adventurers. With this set up, you really don’t need any more lighting

Ode to the fun and hard work of restoration. It takes a master of mind to take on the difficulties of reconstructing a vw Vanagon. The unibody construction makes a solid a safe body plan but need to leave these complex bodies to someone who knows what they’re doing. We are artists and sculptures bringing life back into the beloved Vangon. It takes passion and devotion to do what we do and we love every moment of it. We want to thanks each every one of you for being so great to us?
