Mickey Thompson FRIDAY $20K SCHEDULE!

With cold overnight temps and a potential for another soaker in the next hour, we are pushing for a 930am start time! Racers with your help, we can potentially have the gambler race from today run tomorrow but we need cars ready at the start time and when called! THANK YOU!

UPDATE for Thursday 5/7...we had a clearing at 9am with hopes the rain would stay away but it came back around 1030am and hasn't stopped. The Test & Tune and Gambler race for today is cancelled.

We will start the morning with (1) structured time run for Friday Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels $20,000 race, we also have the Friday night Glenn Development $2,000 shootout!

Every now and then something happens to restore my faith in humanity…
Bug McCarty got with Timbo last week at the Fling to say he wanted to visit about something. I never dreamed it would be about something that would be so kind and so selfless.
I’m extremely happy to announce that Bug and McCarty Auto Parts have generously chosen to help and support TWO random racers at next week’s Galot Spring 250 presented by FTR Events. McCarty Auto Parts is stepping up to pay the entire weekend tab for each lucky winner of a random drawing that will take place this Sunday afternoon/evening. And by entire tab, I mean the entire tab. Both main events, both shootouts, and both re-entry rounds (if required).
Bug’s deal is as follows…
The lucky racer gets to keep all of the first $1000 he or she earns in prize money, no strings attached. Anything above and beyond that gets split 50/50. The racer gets 50%, and the most honorable Saint Judes charity gets the other 50%.
To enter into the drawing, a racer has to comment on the original post by myself, Timbo, or Vinny and tag two other people. That is all. Deadline to get in is noon on Sunday. Everyone that does so will be put into a random drawing and we’ll go FB live this Sunday, most likely on the FTR page, but it might be on mine, or it might be on the Darana Benson page. Heck, it might be on all three!
Lastly, with racers being racers, I’m sure someone is probably thinking “what if I’ve already pre-entered for the event”. If so, FTR will gladly give you $200 credit. With that said, come on man, follow Bug’s lead and pay it forward. Give your pre-entry to a friend that was on the fence or is short on cheddar!
