It’s been a week since the hail has created chaos around town for many residents. We would like to thank the community for being patient with us and the kind people that have went out of their own ways to lend us a hand. The workload of the hail is a lot but rest assured that we have two techs that will still be focusing their time on collision work. If you find yourself in a fender bender, deer hit, or any other sort of bad deal, don’t hesitate to call and get a time setup to take care of your needs!

Today was a tough day for Dunlap and the surrounding communities. A lot of people took a hit, and it’s frustrating to see the damage to things you’ve worked hard for.

If your vehicle was damaged, start by calling your insurance company and opening a claim. Insurance companies are already lining up catastrophic damage teams to inspect vehicles. Until that happens, there’s not much we can do on our end—we have to wait on their process.

Hail claims take a lot more time and back-and-forth with insurance. Because of that, we will be charging a $100 fee to handle the estimate, paperwork, and communication. If you have us do the repairs, that fee will go toward your final bill.

We appreciate the support, but we’re not going to overbook and stretch ourselves too thin. That doesn’t help anyone. We’ll be focusing on keeping our schedule manageable and prioritizing collision work to keep vehicles safe on the road.

If you were impacted by the Hail Storm today. Your first step will be to contact your insurance company to see how they want to proceed. At this point we can’t do much. Please be patient with us as the phone is already going crazy. We will return calls as soon as we can. Please keep business calls to the shop phone, 712-643-5645. It gets to be too much to manage multiple phones and keep the schedule straight.

Merry Christmas to everyone a little early! As we have all learned, time is one of the hardest things to come by in life. This Christmas season we have decided to give our employees and ourselves a little extra time with family and enjoy the Holiday just a little bit more. In order to do this, we will be closing the shop from December 23rd through the 28th. We know that some emergencies can happen and we would still like to be able to help you. Who is hungry for some Sweet 🌽 Corn?
It’s close to being ready and coming on fast with this heat. It’s FREE help yourselves just me mindful of others wanting some too. We did plant the whole lot this year so if you want to freeze a Little it should be fine and still leave enough for others.
We love doing our little community sweet corn patch across from the body shop, but we couldn’t do it without these guys so make sure if you see Wofat thank him for the seed, Paul and Dewey Klein for planting it, Darrell Goeser for farming our lot.
