What happens at Manager Extravaganza… well, some things might have to stay at the beach house! 😂

We had an awesome weekend with our BAPS managers filled with a little learning, a lot of laughs, and plenty of good food!

Friday was all about learning and development. We spent most of the day with our tech rep, Joe Frizzell, learning all about color matching. Joe shared some great tips and tricks that will help our managers better assist their teams and, most importantly, better serve our customers. Thank you Joe! We also had some great training and reminders from our HR team. Thanks Heather!

After a full day of meetings, it was time to switch gears and head to Captain George’s for some ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT seafood. Because apparently training works up an appetite! 😂🦀

Saturday morning started with a homemade breakfast at the beach house, followed by everyone splitting off for their own adventures. The ladies spent the day plant shopping and getting some puppy therapy at puppy yoga, while the boys headed to the shooting range. Definitely two very different versions of a Saturday! 😂

Then it was back to the beach house for burgers, hot dogs, drinks, laughs, and just hanging out together.

It was such a great weekend and a much-needed break from the day-to-day grind. We learned a lot, (including that an ocean stick is real, see pic😂) laughed A LOT, made some great memories, and got to spend time together outside of the stores.

We appreciate everything our managers do day in and day out to keep BAPS moving forward. We may have gone into the weekend as coworkers… but we definitely left with a few more inside jokes and some great memories! ❤️

Until the next Manager Extravaganza! 🎉

🎨 PREP IS WHERE THE FINISH STARTS.

Everyone notices the final color and gloss, but the quality of that finish is determined long before the vehicle ever makes it into the spray booth.

Proper sanding, masking, cleaning, surface preparation, and using the right products at each step can make the difference between a smooth, efficient repair and having to go back and redo work later.

Good prep helps improve adhesion, reduce imperfections, create a more consistent finish, and ultimately helps keep vehicles moving through the shop.

At BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, we understand that every step of the repair process matters. From abrasives and masking products to primers, paint, clearcoat, and everything in between, our goal is to provide shops with the products, knowledge, and support they need to get the job done right the first time.

Better Prep. Better Results. Better Productivity.

🤖🎨 ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE + AUTOMOTIVE REFINISH?

AI isn't only changing estimating and diagnostics. It's helping reshape how coatings themselves are developed.

PPG is using AI during product development to evaluate formulation possibilities faster—with the ultimate goal of helping shops improve efficiency, reduce cycle time and maintain quality.

The future of collision repair isn't coming. It's already here!

A very special thank you goes to Elizabeth Althouse for helping organize this benefit car show for the past three years. Your dedication, hard work, and passion have helped make this event a success year after year, and we truly appreciate everything you do.
