STOP RELYING ON THE WIZARD TUNE.
If you’re running a Holley EFI system and think clicking through the Wizard Tune means your engine is properly tuned, you’re leaving performance, drivability, and potentially reliability on the table.
The Wizard Tune is a starting point — NOT a finished tune.
It doesn’t know exactly what your engine wants. It doesn’t know how your particular combination responds to timing, fuel, acceleration enrichment, idle control, or transient conditions. Your cam, heads, compression, injectors, intake, fuel system, ignition, and the way the vehicle is actually driven all matter.
“It runs” and “it’s properly tuned” are NOT the same thing.
We see it all the time: engines that start, idle, and drive around on a Wizard Tune but are nowhere near where they should be. Poor throttle response, lazy acceleration, unstable idle, bad cold starts, excessive fuel consumption, and inconsistent performance can all be signs that the calibration needs attention.
Holley EFI is an incredibly powerful system — but only if it’s properly calibrated.
Quit treating the Wizard Tune like it’s the final answer.
Get the data. Make the adjustments. Tune the combination.
Don’t settle for good enough when your engine is capable of so much more.
🔧 A Wizard Tune gets you running. A proper tune gets it RIGHT. 🔥
