This afternoon CDTR trucks 89 and 94 helped Elizabeth Township Fire Department celebrate their 100th birthday and participated in their parade. Was a very nice way to honor their 100 years of service to the community. Happy Birthday ETFD!

Last night Truck 89 and 94 was honored to participate in Blaine Hill VFC annual community day parade. Truck 89 also won an award for best appearing non public safety unit. We had a great time looking forward to next year.

On Saturday Truck 89 participated in the Riverfest Elizabeth PA parade. Was a huge parade lasting over an hour, with trucks as far as Benwood WV. Elizabeth Boro V.F.C. you put on one great event.

Even got to hang out with DG the cat on the boat before and after the parade.

Early this afternoon CDTR was requested to the area of Boswell Oil for a pick up truck in the River. Once dive teams confirmed there were no occupants in the truck Truck 102 was put in place to start the vehicle recovery. Divers from Port Vue VFD assisted in rigging the truck for recovery. The truck was winched up the steep embankment using dual lines off Truck 102.

Thank you to all agencies that operated on scene with us. The teamwork made for a smooth and safe recovery.

This evening Truck 89 helped Citizen’s Hose Co. #1 Of Glassport - Station 161 celebrate their 125th anniversary by participating in their parade. We were also proud to be one of their fair sponsors. As always we appreciate the invite. Was an honor helping you celebrate your years of dedication to the community. Congratulations on 125 years of “Always There”

Saturday afternoon Truck 89 participated in a touch a truck event sponsored by North Versailles Twp parks and recreation. The fire department and kids got to have a little water battle to cool off.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured officer, his family and the whole McKeesport PD. One officer was injured in a serious traffic accident this afternoon.

We work daily with these amazing men and women. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

We are currently accepting applications for a full time fleet mechanic. This is a 8-5 Monday thru Friday position. This would be for the repair, maintenance,pm of our fleet only. Vehicles range from light duty vans and trucks all the way to heavy trucks. Experience with diesel engines preferred. On Tuesday evening CDTR trucks 89 and 94 along with Jays Towing helped a 5 year old boy’s birthday wish come true with a little tow truck parade past his house and gave him a chance to see the trucks and of course blow the horn lol. Thanks to Austin from Jays Towing for coming (videos in comments)
