This Chelmsford client contacted me for a hard start on his older CRV.. I normally don't go out for engine diagnosis, but he is close enough that I made an agreement with him. And turned out the alternator was nearly totally seized. We replaced the alternator, belt, and tensioner assembly. The boo boo pictures was justa "bloody scratch". When I finished, he noted the car was smoother and quieter than it had been before.
My operation isn't the cheapest way, it's thorough and Safe. No wheel/tire work, no computer diagnostics.

I forgot to get more shots. Again, a couple hours became most of the day.
Back to the CRV suspension overhaul. This time I replaced front bearings (removal in the shot), cv axles, and calipers. Now he is finally ready for alignment.

This became another "never know what you are getting into" projects. The client was overwhelmed with what I found and he followed through on a really tight budget. Part of the problem was the steering pump, which the manufacturer doscontinued years ago and it's virtually unavailable anywhere. A random dealership in rural NH had one left in stock and quite expensive. He obtained that with a pile of other parts from other stores. I got the truck running smoothly, then to find a massive leak coming from the steering gear box. With everything else tight, all the stress centered into the last bad area. So that is the next project as soon as ye "heals" from the initial shock.

This client reminded me I have performed a few projects for him over the past few years. This time he wanted an overhaul on the rear end. However, upon closer assessment, I notified him it need quite a bit more work on front and rear. Here I am cutting the axle nuts off to replace cv axles along with the rest of the project. I will upload more shots of this project shortly

This client contacted me to do a front end overhaul on his Ford Explorer. I replaced everything down to the mounting and camber bolts. It was a Long day but well worth it to know they now have all new parts
