Today, we remember and honor all the innocent lives lost on 9/11, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families and communities forever changed that day.

I was living in New York when it happened, and I’ll never forget the fear, heartbreak, and uncertainty that surrounded that day. It’s something you can never truly erase from your memory.

25 years later, we continue to remember the lives, the heroes, and the sacrifices made. May we never forget the people who were taken from us and the courage shown by so many.
