❄️ Winter Tech Tip: Do You Really Need to Warm Up Your Car?

We hear this one every winter.

For most modern vehicles, long warm-ups aren’t necessary — and they can actually do more harm than good.

✅ What we recommend instead:
• Start your car
• Let it idle 30–60 seconds
• Then drive gently for the first few minutes

Modern engines are designed to warm up while driving, not sitting still. Light driving helps the engine and transmission reach proper operating temperature faster.

🚫 What to avoid:
• Letting the car idle for 10–15 minutes
• Revving the engine while it’s cold

Drive safely this winter
