9/18 Results

4M- had a decent start of the night. Believe we fixed majority of the leak but still some popping noted. Heat race we went P3 to P2 and inverted starting spot of 4th for feature. Feature we had issues with power steering. It was very intermittent all race creating a difficult car to handle. Attempted to trouble shoot with resetting the car by powering on and off. Unfortunately due to this we got caught up in a tangle. Still managed to finish all laps with 6th place finish.

22M- of Tyler missed his heat race. We had no idea lines up were moving that fast with no speaker or race receiver notification. This started him last in heat 2. Car was tight for him so we loosened it up for feature. Unfortunately after a spin, the car wouldn’t re fire. We think starter may be bad. Have to look into this more the upcoming week.

14H- Joey completed his first 600 race. We couldn’t be more proud of him. Unfortunately he spun out to many time causing him to sit infield. They also may be trouble shooting a start issue.

An unfortunate night but could have been worse. We will get it figured out and hopefully be back out there in a few weeks! Thanks to all our sponsors, friends, and family that continue to support us! It does not go unnoticed!!

Locked and loaded for tonight! 🔥

Sorry for the lack of updates last race weekend—our 4M had a pretty major leak that turned out to be exhaust gaskets and an injection issue. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been able to troubleshoot, square the car, and re-block it. Fingers crossed for a strong night! 💪

The 22M will be piloted by Tyler Niblett tonight, and the TJR team will make its first appearance at Middleford Speedway with Joey Keller behind the wheel of the 14H.

The 4M is BACK and ready to throw down! 💥🏁

The car came out swinging on night one and did not disappoint. We’ve got a little gremlin to chase with a small exhaust leak, but nothing’s stopping us from charging through the rest of the season!

8/23 Results

Amanda was able to pilot the 22M for the first time last night. Car drives a lot different than the ol PMP. Unfortunately the track was one lane, around the bottom.

Hot laps- had wrong gearing on the car. Ran a 17.2 and car felt loose.

Heat- P6 to P5. Fixed the gearing and tightened up. Ran 16.5 and felt much better.

Feature- P9 to P8. Didnt quite get the set up right but was better than heat run. Looking for more drive and speed.

4M remains on the sidelines until motor can be placed back on. 22M will return next weekend, unsure who gets to drive it yet 😜

Well… not the best weekend for AC Motorsports.

Courtney is still on the sidelines with a fractured tailbone 🦴, so Friday night Tyler jumped behind the wheel of the 22M. For his first time ever in a 600, he did awesome!

The 4M liked the new setup but is still searching for some extra speed. Unfortunately, on the very last lap of the feature while making a move for 4th, Amanda clipped the infield tire and spun at the checkered. That left us with a bent front axle and a couple radius rods to fix.

Saturday the crew worked hard to get the 4M car ready for Airport Speedway. Sadly, after just one practice lap, we dropped a valve and damaged the cylinder head 😔. That means the 4M will be down for a bit until the motor can be repaired or replaced.

8/9 Results.

Sorry for the delay. 4M managed to flex the work schedule to race.

We ran timed hot laps this past Saturday. Missed the invert of top six by 2/10th of a second. Starting us 7th in feature.

Feature- Car felt good but unfortunately we lost power steering on lap one, creating a difficult car to handle. Even with adjustments it was too much to handle. Managed to turn 15/20 laps and decided to pull in before tearing something up.

We will get it trouble shooted and ready for next Friday. Looking forward to trying out a new set up in the car. Thanks to all our friends and family who come out and support.

This is what family is all about — whether it’s by blood or the crew at the track. Everyone’s ready to lend a hand or share advice, even when we’re racing in the same class. That’s what makes the racing community special. Check out this quick video that really captures the spirit — from the guys on the track to Momma Dukes on the sidelines. Cole and Jason were right on my heels, but they raced me CLEAN and with RESPECT. That’s the kind of sportsmanship we need more of in racing. Their actions speak volume. Also, enjoy Mom’s excitement while filming — maybe if I brought that level of energy behind the wheel, I’d be doing better out there! 😄

Middleford 8/2 Results.

Practice we did not get the times we were looking for. Did not help that tires were moved in. Made some changes to tighten car up for the heat.

Heat we started P4 and finished P4. Car was still loose but we were 3rd fastest which was an improvement. Made the car even tighter for feature.

Feature- started 7th and after a spin out on the start I ended up 6th. We’re still struggling with getting the car tighter but with each week we’re making more progress. Wingless is very challenging with track condition changing but we’re not giving up!
