Reminders and things to know:

● Kona Ice will be on site from 1-4...Yeah!!!

● Tag Master- any racer that was signed up for our rain out on Aug 9th have already been transferred to this race. You must still check in at registration to receive your wristbands.

● This is the last JSS race. If you are signed up for the JSS, this is your last date to ensure that our photographer has a picture of your racer.

● Attached is the photographer's info to buy pictures.

● We are also still looking for donations for the silent auction at the Banquet. Please see the flyer below. Anything helps!

● As we get to the last few points races of the season, I want to remind everyone to be respectful of the staff and their fellow racers.

BKC members have set a high standard for sportsmanship and family atmosphere both at and away from the track. (Please refer to rule 3.2 in the rulebook)

Points for weeks 10 & 11 are posted on Speedhive. Follow the link below or from the Badger Kart Club website go to results which will take you to Speedhive. Then click on championship at the upper right. That will show all classes.
Reminder, you have two weeks from today to dispute or point out anything that's incorrect. Any questions can be sent to [email protected].

Saturday is the rain make up for points race #10. If you were registered for the rain out, you are already in there. You must still check in to get your wristbands. Tag Masters DOES NOT run. Those will be moved to the next Tag Masters race. This is also JSS race #6!

Sunday is points race #11 and JSS #7. At the break there will be the nominations for Board of Directors. Please see the previous post about how this works!

***Attention Club Members***

It's that time of year again when we start talking about elections for the Board of Directors. If you are unaware; Badger Kart Club does not have an owner. It is member run, overseen by a Board of Directors. This Board consists of 5 officer positions and 8 director positions. Each are a 2-year term, which causes half of the board to be up for election each year.

Any member in good standings with the club is eligible to run for a position. Here is the process: At the break during Points Race #11 on Sunday August 23rd we hold a nomination meeting. If you are interested in running, someone needs to nominate you for the position, and someone else needs to second the nomination. The names are then listed on a ballot that members receive at one of the last races of the year, or mailed, to vote on who they would like in the board positions for 2 years. The ballots are counted at the banquet and the new Board of Directors is announced that night.

All Tag Masters will be transferred to Points Race #12.

🏁 We missed you 🏁

Has it really been almost a month since the track had a club event 👀

Well, we hope you are ready for the weekend's events (you sure have had enough time to prepare).

🕗 Saturday is the 8 HOUR ENDURO race. This event is like no other. Grab your friends and a kart to join in the fun. If you aren't lucky enough to race it, I would suggest to stop on by to see what it is all about.

🏁 Sunday is Points Race 10 which also welcomes the Tag Masters group. (Can you believe we are over half way through the season). The track will be switched to the Bus-Stop configuration. Please let your drivers know!

🏆 We are still looking for donations for prize baskets to be auctioned off at the banquet. This is a great way to promote your business. We can also accept cash donations and build a basket for you. Please see Martha Luna or drop off donations at the registration building.
