Justin breaks down a crucial piece of advice that many lake property owners overlook when developing a new lot: Why your boat dock should be the very first thing you install.

If you are planning a staircase system down to the water, your builders need an exact starting and ending point. By locking in the dock first, the staircase can be precisely engineered to step down and perfectly overlap the shore station. Trying to build the stairs before the dock is there to meet them just doesn’t work!
