Welcome to Bankhead Resort and Bama Campgrounds! "Come join our fall festival" Hi my name is Austin, I'm standing at the entrance of the cave right here on the property. This is where our cave hike comes out at the end of our haunted hiking journey. If you think this cave is spooky in the daytime, just wait till you come and see it at night! After we transform it into our Haunted Cave glow stick party hike. Come on out and have some fun, Join the party!

Directly following the Fall festival we will have our spooky cave hike. Starting at sunset we will take a hike to our own private cave at Bama Campground & RV Park meet at 6 and start the hike at 630. If you are unable to hike you can still participate, wewill have a trailer ride that takes you to a lookout platform over the cave.

Fall Festival at Bankhead Oct 2026

Come spend a fall weekend with us in beautiful Double Springs, Alabama, surrounded by the natural beauty of Bankhead. We’re bringing families together for three weekends of outdoor fun, good food, animals, pumpkins, and plenty of reasons to slow down and enjoy the season.
A $15 festival pass includes the petting zoo, inflatables, a hayride, and a pumpkin to take home. Throughout the festival, we’ll also have additional activities available, including face painting, vendor booths, pumpkin carving, and hikes to the incredible cave located right here on the property.
Make sure you come hungry. Chef Kacey will be cooking some of her favorites, including her famous BBQ brisket grilled cheese and loaded chili, along with traditional festival favorites like burgers and hot dogs. Food and other items from our vendors will be available for purchase throughout the day.
You can come for the day or turn your visit into a weekend getaway. Cabin reservations include four Fall Festival passes, with additional passes available for $15 each. If you’d rather camp under the stars, tent-site reservations include two festival passes.
The Fall Festival will take place October 10 & 11, October 17 & 18, and October 24 & 25 at 415 Co Rd 3003, Double Springs, AL 35553.
