Today some residents visited Resaca de la Palma State Park. We encountered more than 20 different bird species, butterflies, rabbits and lizards. It was a beautiful morning for a tram ride. The state park is doing this tram tour every Wednesday in May. Check it out.

Today we celebrated Mother's Day with Root Beer Floats and a little karaoke.

Please remember in your prayers this week Shirley and family as they celebrate the life of the family patriarch, Dick Druse .

Many will recall Shirley was the librarian for a decade or so. They lived in the house that Rodney Hick currently calls home and most importantly they shared Lucky Dog with all of us. Dick and Shirley are missed for sure as they moved, 2023, into an assisted living center in Florida near their daughter Sheryl.

Thank you to everyone who made our Ron Moshier dance a success tonight! We had people here from Palmview to Harlingen and right next door. 145 people came together for a fun night of dancing and laughing and birthday cake. 🎂

We’ll do it again on May 22nd!

Now I may sleep the whole weekend! 😴
