Palm Valley RV Park Koenig's Winter Resort is an historical RV park located in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.

We are 15 miles from Mexico and less than 1 hour from beautiful South Padre Island.

Well it's that time of the year when all our family and friends start to leave. To us it's a sad time, we hate to see them go but the good news is it gives us time to spruce up the park so that when they back in the fall everything will look beautiful and we can start having fun again. Please have a safe trip and we will look forward to the fall.

ok this is the latest update, the Alamo Water Co power plants still do not have electricity so they can not pump the water. They do not have any idea as to when it will be fixed. I will keep everyone up dated as I know anything.

To all of our friends and families, Hurricane Laura has come and gone. We were lucky and did not have any problems. No ones house or property here had any damage. In fact we didn't even get any rain. We are praying for all the people that were not as lucky as us.

WITH Labor Day just around the cornor I can say it makes me happy knowing that it wouldn't be long before all our friends and families will be coming home soon.We want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday>

With Memorial Day coming up, it reminds us how quickly summer is upon us. How fast time seems to fly! I always associated the holiday with the tryouts for, and ultimately, Race Day at the Indianapolis 500. I grew up in Indy, and there was always so much excitement, with celebrations, picnics and TV and radio coverage around the race and that time. As we observe this very special time in our history, we proudly honor and remember all those who bravely and unselfishly gave their lives, fighting for our freedom and liberty. Well, it sure is getting quiet around here, peoplewise, that is. Our friends and extended families have returned to the north for the summer.
The sounds we'll be hearing around here this summer are power tools, and painting, and keeping the Park beautiful.
We hope everyone has a great summer, and that we'll all be able to escape this quarantine soon.

It was a bittersweet, but lovely party we had for our beautiful, one-of-a-kind, Joyce Maxwell.
Joyce has graced our Park with her presence, as well as her husband, James, for many, many years, and were as much of the Park as anyone could possibly be.
Joyce left earlier than she had planned, as her children wanted their mother home for Christmas, and back to Kansas
We sure hope to see you here next season, Joyce!
We are already missing you! Love you!
