We don't know....there's also a parade! 🎊 Sponsored this year by Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, the parade features classic cars🚗, beautiful equine🐴, motorcycle clubs 🏍, our Bulldog Marching Band🎺, EMS staff from around the county🚑, the crew from Gascosage Electric Cooperative 👷♂️and so many AMAZING floats! Don't miss out on the car and bike show at the end of the parade route-🛻🏆!
Be sure to check out the Bigdawg Co****le Boards corn hole 🫴competition on Friday-bags fly at 6! If that isn't your kind of thing, what about a hot🌭dog eating competition? Jackie’s Snackette is hosting a hot dog eating competition at the Cow Days Main Stage right after the youth pageant👑on Friday! Love to flex those golden pipes 🗣? Maybe the karaoke🎤contest is your thing. Register for the karaoke contest at the Chamber tent by 7:30 p.m. on Friday, 9/20. Contest begins at 8 on the main stage. Love to run like the wind💨? Join in on the Healthy Futures Pulaski County 5K on Saturday morning at 8 a.m.
Live music🎼will be featured all weekend! Friday at 3 p.m. is Beyond Mason Ridge with some of your favorite country🤠tunes. Saturday starts rocking🤘with Backlash! They play from 9:30 a.m. until the parade at 11 a.m. The live music🎶resumes at 1:00 p.m. with some smooth country🎙sounds from Owen Kloeppel of Vienna, MO! Enjoy a variety of alternative music🎸from Outermind of Columbia, MO at 3 p.m. The Bluegrass Martins join us on the main stage at 5:30. Don't miss out on their show! They bring us a true bluegrass🪕sound-they've traveled the world🌏and they are bringing it here to Downtown Dixon, MO! The Aftermath ends the evening of live music🎵from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. with an eclectic blend of genres. The Aftermath has rocked🎹our Cow Days stage before and they are back for more fun!
Are the kids looking for something fun🥳to do? Of course they are! The Cow Days Kid Zone will be the place. Located near The Dixon Pilot Newspaper and Print Shop, find the BEST of the BEST in bounce houses, a FREE petting zoo🦙sponsored by our friends at Phelps Health and a barrel train🚂to take you through our entire festival for just 💲1. You need a pick-me-up while you're chasing the kids around the Kid Zone? We get it. Stop by Cup of Faith Coffee Co. over there and get a cup ☕. Enjoy dancing and kids karaoke throughout the weekend at the Udder Stage sponsored by Dump It Disposal and Ashley Mazza.
Need to do a little shopping? Ok! Stop by one of our many vendor booths, Dixon Floral or The Shop at Stumpy Acres. Beef jerky, boutique clothing👗, rustic treasures, handmade bows🎀, tee shirts👕, tumblers🥤, fresh flowers💐, candles and more will be available!
Sunday brings something new to the Cow Days Main Stage-a community praise and worship🎚! The Cow Days Third Day Praise and Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, 9/22. Bring a lawn chair🪑, enjoy testimonies, worship music🎵, food🌭 and fellowship followed by Real Encounter extreme bike🚴 ministries! Thanks to the Dixon Ministerial Alliance, Pulaski County Health Center, Healthy Futures Pulaski County and K&M Service Center for making this event possible!
Most importantly....the COWS! 🐄 We give away 2️⃣ of them-yes, 2 LIVE COWS. The first one is on Friday, 9/20, at 9 p.m. This is the free🆓merchant cow🐮. Collect tickets🎫from select Chamber merchants leading up to Cow Days and be present with your tickets at the Cow Days Main Stage when the drawing🗳takes place. If your ticket is drawn....you WIN🙌! We will draw until a winning ticket is matched. You ❗️MUST❗️ be present with the winning ticket to win this one. If your ticket is the winning ticket you can choose between the cow or 💲600! Don't take the cow? We auction📢it off right there at the stage. The second cow drawing is on Saturday, 9/21, at 10 p.m. The tickets for this can be purchased from select Chamber merchants and board members as well as at the festival. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. You do not have to be present to win this one, but if you aren't there, you win the 💲600. If you are there, you can choose to take the cow or the 💲600! Thanks to The Maries County Bank-Dixon for helping with the acquisition of our cows among other things at our 2024 event.
