TintWood Scheduling Change
I’m thinking about changing the way appointments are scheduled at TintWood to make the day run a little smoother.
Instead of scheduling everyone at a specific time throughout the day, appointments would be scheduled by the day.
Everyone scheduled for that day would drop their vehicle off by 9:00 AM.
Vehicles would then be worked on in the order they’re dropped off... first one in gets started first, second one gets started next, and so on.
Since I’m the only one doing the tinting, this would help keep the shop moving throughout the day. If someone cancels or doesn’t show up, I can simply move on to the next vehicle instead of having an empty hour or two waiting for the next scheduled appointment.
You would still have your guaranteed appointment day, just not a specific start time. I would contact you as soon as your vehicle is finished and ready to be picked up.
I think this could help me stay more efficient, get more vehicles done, and possibly even shorten how far out I’m booked. The vehicles will still be done the same day they are booked 😎
