Home safe from Sons of Speed and AFT racing at Nashville Short Track, wow what a busy week! There are so many great people that are part of Sons but it would be hard not to acknowledge, Freddie, Warren, Grub, Jason, Braxton, Joe, Jose, and especially Dana, Vivian and the one and only Berry Wardlaw! Did some MC work today then started running AC lines for the Fastback. The “bulkhead” fittings were a great addition to let the lines go cleanly thru the inner fender.

On this Primary Election Day I went to the range early and zeroed in the Beretta 92XI Corsa at 15 yards on a bag. I then shot at 25 yards against a 6x6 Barricade right and also left handed. I am very happy with the results. A lot more practice needed for left hand (off hand)! I then went over and Voted! Get out and vote or you may not be able to shoot!

Anyone else have a high tech paint booth/ hanger? This is the 67 Fastback exhaust, welded and painted with high temp paint. I like doing this because I can touch up and also if needed to be changed I can just repaint.

Worked on the 67 Fastback for 12 hours today! Had some help from Andy Gardner for a while. Was able to get the firewall and transmission tunnel in, bend and instal the rear differential brake lines, get the master cylinder and proportioning valve installed and for over 2 hours bent up the right front brake line which goes from the proportioning valve to the right front caliper flex line. That line was a straight piece when I started bending it! Also ran some fuel lines and looked up the fuel filter and pressure regulator and made a plan for next weekend. All in all it was a great day!!

Is it ok to get excited about restoring a car trailer? I bought this trailer pretty cheep, had to put brakes a complete light package and a rewire. Added a winch, spare tire and a storage box after blasting and repainting it. Just another project that is now complete! The truck is my youngest son’s detailed by Keith at Vortex Detailing here in Dillsburg Pa!

The 1937 W is all but done! Need to put a proper kill switch on it and it’s ready to go. I didn’t think about the kill switch until getting ready to start it! The key for the magneto doesn’t stay in it so that won’t work. Original music, from Van Halen “Right now”.

1937 Harley W! The first year for this design and a recirculating oil system not a total loss oil system. This bike is finished in Delphine Blue and has the correct stripes above and below the Speedball decal. This is more of a flat track racer style bike with lights and floor boards. Should be finished in the next few days and I will be taking it to Billy Lanes, Sons Of Speed!!
