⛈️There isn't much you can do to prepare your RV for a hailstorm, but here are a few things that can help minimize the damage:
-Run your slides in.
-Put your stabilizer jacks down if there are high winds.
-Fold up your steps.
-Close your propane bottles.
-If you have a fiberglass front cap, face the front of your RV into the wind.
-If the front of your RV is metal, face the rear of your RV into the wind.
-After the storm is over make sure to cover any hole that could let water into your camper (water damage is often not covered by insurance)
-If you have food in your fridge, make sure to check it in the morning. Any amount of moisture can cause it to trip.
