Henry Biesiot Activities Center The Henry Biesiot Activities Center is THE PLACE to host your next event.

The Henry Biesiot Activities Center at Dickinson State University (formerly the Badlands Activities Center) was constructed to serve businesses, organizations, associations, foundations, families, individuals, and community groups within the City of Dickinson, its surrounding communities, and throughout the great State of North Dakota with its meeting and event needs. The BAC has over 5,000 square

feet of indoor multi-purpose space and a variety of outdoor spaces available for rent year-round. During fiscal year 2012, the BAC hosted 320 different events such as: business meetings; employee training; safety seminars/workshops; conventions; public input meetings; business socials; appreciation luncheons; holiday, birthday, and anniversary parties; open houses; weddings/wedding receptions; church services; banquets; conferences; vendor shows/exhibits; concerts; car shows; family reunions; spa sales; outdoor family movie nights, and much more.

BAC will open at 9 PM. The main concourse will be open for restroom use only.

Spectators can watch the fireworks from the bleachers at the BAC, on the berm around the football field or from the soccer fields at the Sanford Sports Complex.

NO ONE IS ALLOWED ON THE TRACK OR FOOTBALL FIELD

Please make sure to pick up your trash so we can continue to host the City of Dickinson, ND Local Government Fireworks for years to come!

We are pleased to announce the return of Pegasus Illuminations in partnership with the DSU Henry Biesiot Activities Center for our fireworks display on Saturday, July 4th!

The BAC will open at 9PM, the show begins at 10PM, and it will be visible throughout west Dickinson and beyond. The fireworks are launched from the nearby practice football field. The stadium proved to be a great place to view the show in 2025.

The show is a 'pyromusical', meaning that the visual display is synced with music played through the stadium PA system. Spectators outside the stadium can sync the audio through 88.7 FM on your radio dial.
