STATE CHAMPS: The Fort Walton Beach High School cheerleading team brought home a state championship Friday for the first time in more than a decade.

The Vikings won the FHSAA State Championship in the 1A Game Day division, competing against 24 teams total in their division at the state level. The division was the largest of the entire competition.

The team's path to state began with 51 teams at regionals before the field was narrowed to the 24 finalists.

"They competed in the largest division of the entire competition, showed up, showed OUT, and left everything on that mat," the team wrote in a social media post. "The grit. The energy. The heart. I could not be more proud of this team."

Fort Walton Beach last won a state cheerleading championship in 2014.

The team worked with choreographers at Zero Gravity Athletics on their routine. In their announcement, the cheerleaders thanked families, friends, teachers and administrators for their support.

"But make no mistake… we're not done yet," the post continued. "Next stop: NATIONALS."

Good News for Honda Fans!

Honda has officially announced a new program called Honda Heritage Works that will start on 2026.

What does this mean?

• Honda will start selling official reproduction parts for select classic Honda (and Acura) models

• These parts are genuine, designed to keep vintage Hondas on the road in Japan only (for now).

• Honda will offer factory restoration services, bringing classic Hondas back to original condition — straight from the source.

Two parts of the project:

1.) Honda Heritage Parts – discontinued parts, officially reproduced
2.) Honda Restoration Service – full factory restorations in Japan that starts with the first-gen NSX, with more classic models planned.

Honda isn’t just building the future — they’re preserving their past.
