When you call TrueTech, you don't reach a call center or a corporate office. You reach the shop.

We've been locally owned in Des Plaines since 2007. The decisions about your car get made right here, by people who answer to you and not to a home office.

Thank you for keeping it local, Des Plaines.

Amy called us educational, and that one means a lot.

Nobody should drive away from a repair shop unsure of what was done or why. So we take the time to explain what we found, what needs attention now, and what can wait. It's how we've earned customers who stay with us for years.

Thank you, Amy, for the kind words and for trusting us with your car.

Tip of the week, fleet edition: Your work truck doesn't check the calendar. It counts miles.

Tell us roughly how many miles a week your vehicle runs and we'll build a service schedule around it. One truck or five.

Search "auto repair Chicago suburbs" and you get a long list of names. What you don't get is any idea who will actually be working on your car.

So we put our shop on camera. Here's what you'll find when you pull in at TrueTech, where we've been locally owned in Des Plaines since 2007.

When your car needs attention, book at www.truetechauto.com or call 847-299-8783.

Ask Matt how to save money on car repairs and he won't point you to a coupon. He'll point you to one routine service.

It's the least exciting item on the maintenance schedule, and skipping it is behind some of the most expensive repairs we see. Watch the reel for his answer.

Due for service? Book online at www.truetechauto.com

Cruise season is winding down, which means the classics start coming in for their end of season visit. What gets done now decides how the first start in spring goes, and there is a short list of things worth handling before it sits. Owners in the area know where to find us. www.truetechauto.com

Enough vehicles come through here in a week that the bay hands us a coincidence like this every once in a while, and we're not going to let it go to waste đŸ˜‚

Whatever you drive, and whatever color it is, we'll take care of it. Book at www.truetechauto.com or call 847-299-8783.

We asked Matt what he likes most about working here. He didn't lead with cars.

He talked about the guys he works with, and about the fact that most of the vehicles coming through our doors belong to people he'll run into around town.

Need something looked at? Book at www.truetechauto.com or call 847-299-8783.
