to 1979, when bus 206 from Snohomish County Public Transportation Benefit Area Corporation, now Community Transit, had just been completed.

A Flyer model D800B-9635, bus 206 was part of a 24-bus order. Built in early 1979, these buses proved their durability over decades of service, operating till the 1990s.

In 1998, 15 of them were resold to Vancouver, BC, helping Coast Mountain Bus Company address a coach shortage before later supporting transit service in Victoria. By the time they retired in 2002, these buses had served multiple systems and communities for more than two decades.

Meet Ryan Vandivere, Service Center Manager in Dallas! With 25 years in the transportation industry and nearly a decade at MCI, Ryan leads our Service and Parts operations while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.

Ryan is most proud of the talented technicians he works alongside, whose dedication helps keep customers' fleets safe, reliable, and on the road. He's also excited about Dallas' new battery power project, helping prepare the team for the future of motorcoach service.

Outside of work, you'll find Ryan camping, spending time at the lake with family, or enjoying time with his two Pomskies. Fun fact: he was a member of a slalom ski team in high school! 🌊Thank you, Ryan, for your leadership and commitment to our customers and team.
