Corvette Club of Iowa More than 100 Vette owners and enthusiasts make up the
Corvette Club of Iowa. Some are backyard mechanics that know every nuance of small block engines.

Others may not be gear heads, but they can identify the rumble of a big block at a quarter-mile distance. Still others just appreciate the beauty and performance of Corvettes. CCI meets on the third Tuesday of the month at different locations throughout the Des Moines area. Our other treks take us on dinner cruises, road-course competitions, car shows and many other
destinations. We also believe

in supporting our communities by aiding many charities, including Adopt-a-Star, Variety Club of Iowa,
Toys for Tots and the Food Bank. Mostly, we just enjoy life. Founded in 1962, the Corvette Club of Iowa is part of the West Region of the
National Council of Corvette Clubs. We have been actively enjoying our Corvette community,
socially as well as competitively, for over 50 years, not to mention the network of people
and businesses that make it work. We invite you to stop by one of our events or
General Membership meetings and check us out. We are part of the West Region of National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC). We invite you to stop by one or our events.

Remembering Dave Ohmstede:

It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our fellow club member, Dave Ohmstede, who died suddenly at his home this week.

Dave was a valued and cherished member of our Corvette family, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Ankeny Funeral Home. We encourage anyone who is able to attend and offer their support to Dave's family.

Please keep Dave's family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the days ahead.
