For Smart Honda Des Moines and Honda of Altoona, that means supporting the people and organizations who work hard to make the places we call home a little better for everyone.

As part of the Gurley Leep Automotive Family, giving back has always been part of who we are. Each year, 10% of our profits are dedicated to supporting the communities we call home. In 2025, that meant nearly $4 million given to more than 150 organizations across our three regions.

On International Day of Charity, we want to say thank you to the volunteers, nonprofits and community organizations who show up for others every single day. We’re fortunate to call these communities home, and even more fortunate to be able to give something back! 💙
