Monday is off to a great start finishing up seat and guide work on a set of Ford GT heads and a set of 4.6 C heads. New seats all the way around, new bronze guides in the GT heads, blended and a fresh valve job. Throughout the years we have tested and proven what these heads require to stand up to abuse and make great horsepower.

Very excited to have Wonder Racing, LLC. back onboard with us for our first race of 2026!! I don't think I can imagine a better way to kick the 2026 Racing Season off other than with the US Street Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park. The days are flying by so make sure you got your tickets for the second race of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series.

Another set of 5.4 GT500 heads on the Serdi for new exhaust seats and intake touch up for the best valve seal possible. These heads don’t come off the machine until they are vaccum checked. They also got dry decked and fresh hoop grooves.

More high end builds rolling through the shop this week. Our new Probal 5000 from T&S has been a game changer on the speed and accuracy we can provide our customers with crankshaft balancing. Meanwhile the trusted Serdi keeps doing what it does best on these new alloy seats in a Gt500 race head. We finished the profile with a little blend into the chamber for the best possible flow into the chamber. We have tested multiple different sizes and alloys and we feel we use the best materials available for the best possible valve seal in the harshest conditions.

If you want to be the best you have to think outside the box. One of the main detriments to the 5.4/5.8 platform is the big stroke and the stress it puts on the mains. The more power the more they move around. Available now is our big main conversion. 1/2” main studs and 7/16” side bolts. No more cap fretting. This ties the block together and makes it more structurally sound over the standard 10mm studs and 9mm side bolts. The pictures show the massive main studs torqued to 105 ft/lbs. This particular block pictured is for one of the shop cars and has experienced a failure over the years but has been repaired. Failures happen when you push to new levels. We gladly have reached and surpassed every plateau thus far with this engine platform and see no signs of stopping.

Aviaid pump users are you between belt sizes and hate stacking 5-6 shims? Here is your solution. We have these available in stainless and aluminum in multiple thicknesses.

Check the website for all the variants. If you need a custom thickness let us know.

We also have extended pump brackets for the long 5 section pumps and the short 3 section which allow the 4.6/5.4 guys to get to the crank sensor without removing the pump.

Also you can get the side bolts out for main bearing maintenance without removing the pump.
