2004 VW Golf R32 AutoX Race Car - DSP prep (Now classed in ESP), 240 AWHP
The OG FrankenGolf
3.2 VR6, 6MT
~24K original miles, Original Owner (No liens), approx 20K street miles, before SP conversion.
$22,000
Includes a truck and trailer full of spares, NLA and NIB parts, wheels/tires, etc. See the end of the ad for a (mostly) complete list and a full mod list.

The first car I bought new, drove on the street for about 20k miles total while starting a very successful SCCA AutoX career. It' is known as the FrankenGolf, has 3 total SCCA National Championships, multiple magazine and other media appearances and is HEAVILY modded to include 10" wide wheels and 285 Hoosiers on all fours, along with almost everything else, except boost. It put down 240AWHP on an E85 tune. I'm the original owner and it is sitting at 24K miles today.

I've got a bunch of cars (and a motorcycle) for sale!
All located in central Denver, CO.
DM if you are interested in any of them:

1999 Mazda Miata, 5 spd, AC, PS and L*D. Roll bar installed and newer top. 127k miles and very clean with fresh timing/water pump and zero leaks.

1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Coupe, Almost new engine built by Subaru, lowering springs, LWFW, headers and cat-back fart can. Runs and drives really good, but looks pretty horrible (to some....I think it's a beauty). I've used it as a winter daily and i've rallycrossed it with great success. I do have some rally tires on extra wheels, if you are looking for a PF class killer.

2004 VW Golf R32, Black. mostly stock, pretty good shape. ~125K miles.

The Frankengolf. 2004 VW Golf R32 SCCA autocross (DSP) race car. plop a turbo kit on it and DOMINATE Street Mod. Suspension, handling and grip are SORTED. mod list too long to list. Has ~23K original miles and come with a MASSIVE pile of parts, spares and wheels/tires.

2007 BMW K1200GT Motorcycle. right at 10K miles and 100% stock, it's like brand new. it has a new battery, but it is probably due for some tires. in-line four-cylinder engine with 152 bhp and 130 Nm torque at 7,750 rpm. Weight – Dry 549 lbs.
Weight – Wet 622 lbs.

2002 Audi TT 1.8T 225hp Quattro, 6spd. ~135K miles. New timing belt, water pump and tires. It's one of my dailies, currently. Runs and drives great, but does have some typical TT nigglies and a peeling clearcoat. I have a second 225Q as a parts car with only 125K on it too.

2003 VW Jetta TDI 5spd, heated leather seats, sunroof. ONLY 162K miles and it sounds like a sewing machine. It's a VERY smooth, tight car with some minor body damage on the right rear. These cars are SUPER reliable and cheap to own over the long term. They get an ACTUAL 50mpg on the highway (even ripping up the mountains!) and diesel has remained relatively cheap. I'd drive it to either coast tomorrow.

1966 VW Karmann Ghia, manual, needs restoration. runs and drives (barely). VERY minimal body rust and ZERO pan rust. mostly stock and mostly complete.

1981 VW Scirocco MkI with 8V race motor with MegaSquirt and suspension. runs and drives, but needs some help on the tune. super straight with no rust.

1984 VW Scirocco MkII 8v. Mostly stock except for a LWFW. Still has AC (parts are all there, but needs work). Runs great, but doesn't idle great (I may fix that before sale). super straight with no rust. i've rallycrossed it with great success. I have some spare wheels and rally tires for it. owned it for 10 ish years and put MAYBE 2K miles on it.

It's about time for some therapy.

Look what I'm racing today!

Delivery/truck driver was a bit surprised when I told him I'd never driven/used one after I finished unloading the VQ35 engine delivery.

Hi all!
We've got an IMMEDIATE need for an experienced Automotive Technician at Smark A Myth Racing and I thought I'd put it out to the community before I go shopping at the big box store full of good people that know what they are doing. Right.

This is not a learning opportunity for apprentices, recent school graduates or "I've done a bunch of Subaru head gaskets in my friend's garage" folks.

It is a SOLID opportunity for someone, with a strong resume of actual work experience, optional certifications and a significant investment in their own tools and knowledge, to join a solidly consistent and rapidly growing local indie business/brand, and contribute a high level of commitment and attention to quality/detail across a VERY diverse set of cool (and sometimes not so cool) projects. You should be able to confidently handle most, if not ALL, projects on most brands of imported cars/trucks, up to and including engine rebuild/replacement/swap, head gaskets, clutch replacements, timing belts, brakes/suspension/steering, etc. and LOVE referring to the workshop manuals to do so.

Tire and Alignment and/or Domestic brand knowledge/experience is a bonus, but not required.

To avoid any confusion, we are NOT specifically or strictly a racing-oriented shop. We do work on a number of customers' race cars and we do various forms of racing ourselves with our own cars, as in the attached picture, but most of our work is on daily-driven street cars and retail tire sales. We also do a fair number of fix-n-flip cars, usually to fill the slow times.

Are you that person? Do you know someone?
