When there is a catastrophic injury and someone is left without the use of a part of their body, many, MANY challenges are faced.
One of these challenges for Fritz was figuring out how he was going to continue to weld after being left paralyzed - how could he tig without the use of his foot to manipulate the foot pedal?
He tried the finger 'dial' that is the standard exception to the pedal available on the market, but wasn't sold. He felt that it was sub-standard.
Enter the TIG BUTTON. Fritz was able to try a prototype of this product last year, long before it was available to the public. This pressure-control has completely revolutionized his welding and the capability of the entire shop.
We want to say Thank You for the opportunity, and Congratulations to Dave and the Tig Button - as it recently hit the market and is now available to the public. If you're a welder, give this thing a shot; disabled or able-bodied! Have you ever been forced to hold that pedal in crazy ways in attempt to get the job done??

Fritz is tattooing less and building bikes more - a shift has certainly happened.

However, at this point in his career, his tattooing 'when, who and what' he wants certainly has him stepping up the bar.

Meghan couldn't resist this shot of the reference and the marking drawing as he started a new sleeve.
