We hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend and a great week so far!

We have been incredibly busy with maintenance work, custom builds, and tuning, but we got a lot of sick builds and things coming out soon! So stay tuned.

We recently got Luis Barron’s Evo X back up, running, and better than ever. It originally came to us with a blown transmission. After a deeper teardown, we also discovered a completely worn out clutch and a leaky clutch master cylinder.

To get it sorted properly, we sent the transmission out to John Shepherd for a complete rebuild featuring an upgraded 4.30 final drive. Next, we installed a Competition Clutch Stage 2 clutch paired with a Competition flywheel, our go to ACT Monoloc collar, and an MAPerformance CMC upgrade kit.

It is safe to say this Evo is now driving and shifting beautifully. Thank you for trusting us with your car, Luis. Enjoy the fresh setup!

FSI Evo’s are👑☝🏼

Props to these two bad ass cars!! & both cars showed up and showed out for some entertainment this weekend!

Unsure of the G82 Mods and power. But just for reference you got an exact turbo for turbo one being on an inline 6 DCT vs a 4 cylinder stock trans manually shifting that’s going toe to toe with the new kings of the street but you know we had to show that evos are still 👑 and doing what evos are known to do when piloted, built and performing right🤘🏼… like we say our Evo’s are just built different 🫡

The Evo was making about 830-900hp not even turned to its full potential. Once a dog box and finally drive are in it’s gonna be an animal.

Props to both Gentlemen for putting on a show 🫡🔥

MÉXICO RUNS🏁

FSI Built Evo X out stretching her legs last night since the abuse it saw at slush and is still continuing to throw down. The car was running about 27lbs the first couple runs then on 32lbs on the last run with the rolling anti lag, which the car has previously made about 830hp on and She’s a rowdy one for sure! A closer look at that we wrapped up a few weeks ago before attending the event. He came to us looking for more power and a drivetrain setup capable of handling it and that’s exactly what we delivered.

Upgrades included:
• Exedy Triple Disc HD clutch
• ShepTrans Dog Box with 4.31 FD
• Ohm Racing Strain Gauge
• Inline Racing Lockout Shifter
• Turbo upgrade from a 6266 to a 6870 S-Housing
• FIC 2150cc injectors
• Dual 525 fuel pumps to replace a failing setup that was causing fuel pressure drop issues
Once everything was buttoned up, we headed straight to the dyno for a full flex-fuel retune.

The result?
959 WHP / 663 WTQ

The combination of the 6870 and S2 cams completely transformed the car, creating a broad, aggressive powerband that lights the tires with ease while still maintaining serious street manners.

Safe to say this Evo is an absolute street monster.

We tested one of many street builds of ours before the huge in and as you can see and hear the jump in boost from 33lbs in 1st gear to 50-52lbs in 2nd and 3rd gear. So about an easy 150hp jump. Those DR2 spinning and gripping in 2nd😂👌🏽

This car is gonna do some damage with its next little revisions. Stay tuned and we will be posting a recap of this past weekends event and all cool memories we got to make!

We wrapped up some calibration work on Johnny’s Evo 9 RS today. Johnny came to us for a full Flex Fuel Calibration on a Elite 2500 with IC7 digital dash and 15-Button CAN keypad, wire and install V3 strain gauge, miscellaneous fixes and overall shoot for some more power. The setup already consisted of a built 2.2L and Dogbox transmission. We were able to extract a solid 611whp on 91oct and 895whp on E70 with an old school T3 Super 99. The car is now capable of driving wherever and compensate for any fuel from 91oct-E85 while having the benefits of updated technology like working cruise control for long drives, background barometric modifiers for mountain altitude variations, and so much more we can control through the haltech system. Truly a fun street car but the power and feel of a racecar.
