Crank, no start on this beautiful factory lowered 2023 BMW R1250 GSA with only 46 miles on it. The great part of buying (in what is an essentially a brand new bike)… is that it’s fully covered under warranty.

Rider Rescue brought this bike to the great team at BMW of Denver… and I know they are absolutely committed to getting the bike right… to make sure the new owner winds up being a seriously happy camper when he gets his bike back.

There are people who just talk about getting s**t done (and who contantly whine about all that's wrong in the world or the other side's politicians).

Then, there are people (like these folks), who just ACTUALLY got s**t done in a few days... that everyone else said would take at least a few months.

“The West Virginia boys have moved the mountains. All of the roads were just gone, until now. It’s nothing short of miraculous,” one resident told The Post.

It was a beautiful day for a ride, until it wasn't.

This rider called Rider Rescue Motorcycle Towing... this morning to let us know that he and his BMW R1150GS were stuck up on I-70 Westbound in Golden, CO. I asked the rider to send me a pin of his location and I would be on my way.

When I asked him how much shoulder room he had, he said "not much". While I was in transit to the rider, I had him hang up with me and call 911 and request assistance in blocking off the number 1 lane while I loaded up this bike.

Definitely want to personally thank Trooper Galleri of the Colorado State Patrol and the Colorado Department of Transportation who were both out there to help make sure that no cars or 18 wheelers would smack into us as RR got the bike loaded up. Definitely always grateful for CSP and CDOT's help out there... helping to keep us all safe.

It was great to meet Guillermo Rodriguez today. Guillermo is the owner of one of the newest shops in town, 303 Moto Co.

A couple of days ago I got a note from Chere Martin of Rider Justice suggesting that Rider Rescue Motorcycle Towing should reach out to Guillermo, so that we could connect.

And while I am definitely not easily impressed... I was definitely impressed by Guillermo, his new shop... and especially his shop dog, Oliver.

Guillermo said today that there really isn't anything with an engine that he can't fix. Meaning that he'll work on anything from Harleys to sport bikes... to everything in between. That said, from what I have seen and heard so far... the quality of his work and the way he takes care of customers... is all first rate.

303 Moto is in a great location close to where the River North and Globeville areas meet up. If you're in the area... definitely stop in and talk with Guillermo about your next motorcycle project. And while there, definitely be sure to give Oliver some love a good scratch behind his ears!

This woman had never sat on this bike, which belonged to her dad.

Tracie's dad passed away last January. She said that she had sat on a couple of his other bikes... but not this one. It was cool to see her eyes and heart light up when she was on it.

Rider Rescue Motorcycle Towing was called to help Tracie's family with this motorcycle and bring it to storage... until they figure out if a family member will be taking it. If not, the plan is for them to get it up and running so that it can ultimately be sold.

It's always a bit strange grabbing a bike for a rider who is no longer with us. But it always give me solace to at least know that the person who owned it, once knew the joy have having their knees in the wind.

A tragic motorcycle accident, without a happy ending. In this case, the female passenger died and the rider / "driver" of the motorcycle lived.

While it doesn't state it in the article, I'm assuming that the deceased passenger was wearing a helmet because that's the law in New York State and she was also a New York State judge.

This article does NOT go into detail as to who was at fault in the accident. But it definitely highlights the importance of not going cheap on your insurance coverages, especially if 1) you ever ride (or plan to ride) with a passenger on the back or 2) you are (or plan to be a passenger on the back).

And, just as importantly... the absolute minimim insurance coverages you need to have if you're the rider OR passenger when riding two up.
