Sometimes, a scooter repair turns into a story you won’t soon forget.
Last week, we had the privilege of working on ’s Vespa as he traveled across the United States on a journey that started in the Czech Republic and has taken him thousands of miles around the world.
After 33 years of drinking, Ludva found inspiration in the story of Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer and began his own journey to sobriety. Now, he’s riding to Buffalo to thank the man whose words helped change his life.
We spent a couple of days working on his Vespa, doing what we could to get him back on the road without pulling the motor. But the best part was getting to meet Ludva, hear his story, and play a small part in an adventure that means so much more than the miles.
Ludva’s story is a reminder that change is possible, that a new chapter can begin at any point in life, and that you never know how much your own story might mean to someone else.
Follow his journey around the world on Vespa at ludvaklatovsky.com and help us wish him a safe ride to Buffalo!
Ludva, thank you for stopping by Sportique Scooters. Keep riding. Buffalo is waiting.
