With proper maintenance, Subaru's have been known to hit 300,000 miles but they often need some reconditioning work to achieve that milestone. That's where the Subie Doctor can help. In addition to regular s

ervice maintenance, we tackle larger jobs that other shops shy away from such as engine or transmission overhaul/replacement at a lower cost than replacing the vehicle. Originally from Chicago, I worked in the automotive engineering field for 25 years and have been a gearhead since high school. I started restoring muscle cars in the early 90's as a hobby and have dabbled in a little of everything over the years and since moving to beautiful CO in 2009 I've specialized in re-conditioning Subaru's and has developed a following in NoCo fueled with referrals by being professional and honest, offering exceptional value and standing behind my work. We love Subaru's. All our children (that have stayed in CO) drive Subaru's. My wife Valerie drives a newer WRX and I drive a JDM-swapped 2000 2.5RS which we also both race in SCCA RallyCross. I managed to finish 3rd in my class at the 2016 RallyCross National Championship. With the momentum I have, it seemed the right time to say so long to my engineering desk job and follow my passion by starting my own Subaru business. The Doctor is now in and scheduling service work at our new location in NE Denver. Feel free to call, text or email for a repair or reconditioning quote or just some words of advise. I CANNOT get over how beautiful this Aegean Blue Metallic is on this legacy and the condition of it. Hard to believe it’s 32 years old, finally got the chance to clean it today. You can even see the red, green and blue weave in the door card fabric perfectly 😭😍

5sp swap next?! Or leave it auto for now… it drives so smooth after we just did an entire overhaul on the engine and replaced all the old PCV hoses and leaky manifold gaskets. Drives like a TOP!!

150k miles, AT, has hail damage (majority on hood). Has ADF 1” lift, method wheels with General Grabber A/T tires (less than 1yr old), Prinsu rack with LED light bar, Mishimoto TMIC, Koyo Radiator and K&N Typhoon intake. Stock down pipe/exhaust.

A hood with no hail damage would be the best move here. Runs and drives great! We just did a full inspection on it and barely needs anything. Highly maintained here at the shop since 2023 with tons of records.
