Chestnut Tree, happy to have been able to enjoy your warmth and delicious food all of these years. ❤️ Thank you for loving our community.

Welcome, welcome!

On June 23rd we will celebrate being in downtown since 1994. It has been a privilege to be a part of Denton for the last 32 years. What our founders, Valeree Clegg and Betty Seeders, began is a legacy that has lasted longer than most restaurants can ever dream of.

It is now time to begin a new chapter.
The Chestnut Tree will be closing its doors on July 19th.

We are so endlessly grateful for our time in this building, and it’s difficult to put into words what it’s meant to us. We have celebrated countless weddings, reunions, birthdays, and anniversaries. We have loved, we have lost, and, through it all, this building has stood with us.

The building is being sold, and a new business will be moving in soon. We don’t know what’s in store for the future of 107 W Hickory St., but we have high hopes that it will continue to serve this community in myriad ways for a long time to come.

However, this is not a goodbye. Chestnut Tree Catering will continue to operate, and we look forward to serving you at your special events and milestones for years to come.

We are incredibly grateful for the years of support, friendship, and memories we've shared with our guests, staff, and community. Your loyalty has meant more to us than words can express.

Thank you for being part of our story. We are proud of everything we've built together, and we are excited for what the future holds.

Howdy Sticker Station customers!

I wanted to give a heads up to our loyal customers, friends and family of some price changes we are being forced to implement due to the rising cost of crude oil. We pride ourselves in offering affordable, dependable service and this decision did not come lightly, nor was it one made in haste. We have seen prices rising for months now, choosing to stay as low as possible for you all, and have started to feel the effects. We hope everyone understands that we will need to raise the prices of our conventional and synthetic oil changes starting 5/25/2026. We hope to see a decrease in cost in the near future and will adjust our pricing accordingly.

Friendly reminder that foregoing regular auto maintenance due to these nationwide increases will cause more high dollar repairs in the future. We understand this is a major inconvenience and will be keeping the cost as tolerable as possible so that we can continue to serve you all for many years to come. Thank you all for your continued support and trust in us for nearly 40 years!
