I made the trip to Mr Leroy’s Seminary Super Speedway for the Dixie 60 over the weekend. Mother Nature held out Friday until after practice was over. On Saturday I chose to race Bellatrix ( I let Kristy name the car. That will be how I will tell them apart. The other car is Lucile ). Bellatrix has had speed all year but hasn’t finished a race yet. We would qualify 2nd and go on to a 2nd place finish in the A main. I missed the setup just a small amount, but overall had a good run. I’ll definitely take it and move on to the next race.

I’ve been slacking on posting racing updates. We are now 3 races into the 2026 racing season. We’ve had the frostbite 50, Gator Nationals, and a weekly racing event. I must say I have been the model of consistency in all 3. I have a perfect season of DNF’s. I’ve had speed all year, but just can’t shake the bad luck. Apparently Darwin’s theory says if something can go wrong, it will. This sport definitely comes with both highs and lows. Even with all the issues I’ve had, I’m having fun and determined to get a W. Thank you to Cajun Graphics, Absolute Auto Glass, Embroidery Boutique, Yeagers Downhome, Brad Bickford, Loudermilk Racing Engines, my family and everyone else that helps make all this happen.
