Denham Springs Housing was founded by Paul Rouen, Jr. and is one of the oldest independently and locally owned manufactured housing dealerships in Louisiana. Paul started in the manufactured housing industry forty-one years ago as a sales consultant. He went on to sell thousands of homes over the past decades, and his vision to provide the highest quality new and used homes at competitive prices is the foundation of what we do. Paul’s experience and vision continue to guide Denham Springs Housing today and into the future.
In 1985, Paul began his new business in Baton Rouge as Paul's Repossessed Mobile Homes. The tiny dealership only sold used, reconditioned homes—some for as little as $500!
In 1989, our founder decided to move closer to home, and along with the new location came a new name—Denham Springs Housing. Paul also expanded his dealership to include both new and used homes. By this time, Paul's two daughters and his son-in-law had joined him at the family business.
In 1996, we had outgrown our location at 1255 Florida Boulevard. To better serve our customers, we relocated Denham Springs Housing to our larger current location at 1703 Florida Boulevard. We continue to operate from this location in Denham Springs today.
