Hmmm ? 3 solder connections in 1 ft ? That will change resistance of circuit and set twist grip sensor codes. Those codes will put your bike in limp in /reduced power mode. Some get by with it if connections are perfect . Most times they are not. I use high quality extensions where I only have 1 solder connection or replace twist grip with one that is made with longer wires .
