Welcome to Boating Season!
As the days grow longer and the weather warms up, May marks the exciting start of summer here at the marina. We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back to the water and look forward to another great season of boating, fishing, and waterfront fun.
Get Your Boat Ready
Before heading out, now is the perfect time to make sure your boat is ready for the season:
• Inspect batteries, bilge pumps, and navigation lights
• Check fuel systems and fluid levels
• Inspect life jackets and other safety gear
• Test radios and electronics
Safety First
As boating traffic increases, please remember:
• Observe all marina speed limits and no-wake zones
• Double-check dock lines and shore power connections
• Keep fire extinguishers and life jackets accessible
• Review weather conditions before departing
A safe marina is everyone’s responsibility, and we appreciate your help in keeping our waterfront safe for all.
Marina Reminders
• Slip/Racks - Please ensure your slip/rack fees are current for the season
• Insurance - Be sure all insurance documents are up to date with Norview Marina Properties Inc, listed as an Additional Insured
• Issues - Report any dock or utility issues to the marina office promptly
• Spring Cleanup Reminder- Please keep docks and walkways clear—no items stored on docks or in common walking areas. This helps with safety, access, and overall appearance as we head into the busy season

Monthly Guide to Life Dockside at Norview Marina
Marina Hours until Friday, May 22nd, will be
Monday – Sunday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Marina Hours Starting Friday, May 22nd through Labor Day
Sunday - Thursday: 7:30AM - 4:30 PM
Friday and Saturday 7:30AM - 5:00PM
As we head into the busy boating season, please keep our marina and forklift operating hours in mind when planning your time on the water.
Early Closing Policy
A brief note that the marina may close early on days with inclement weather, severe weather, or low activity. We’ll make every effort to communicate these changes in advance when possible - We also suggest checking Deltaville’s weather and calling the marina if you are coming from far away to make sure we are open
Bathroom Lock Codes
Starting this month, all Norview customers will have their own bathroom code. You should have received your code via email. Please be mindful that the code given to you is “your” code and “your” code only. Please do not give codes out to anyone besides your family. If you have not received your code, please contact the marina office. Your code is valid through the end of your current contract.
Boatel/Forklift Policy
To ensure we can safely return boats to their racks before closing, all boats needing to be put back in their racks must be pick-up ready no later than 4:15 PM.
Likewise, any boats needing to be launched into the water or placed in the work rack before closing must be scheduled no later than 4:10 PM.
To ensure your safety, at no time should any person be on the boat, under the boat, or near the forklift when it is in operation. So please keep an eye on your kids, pets, and your guests
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping our staff maintain a safe and efficient schedule during the busy season. Planning ahead and being mindful of these times helps us provide the best possible service for all of our customers.

The Pool will be open this month, so here are some Rules to Remember:
SWIMMING POOL RULES (Opening in May)
-Tenants and their guests swim at their own risk. No lifeguard is on duty
-An adult must accompany all children under 14 years of age
-NO GLASS IS PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA.
-NO DIVING IS PERMITTED.
-Hours of Operation will be posted and will be strictly monitored by Marina personnel. Any unauthorized use of the pool before or after the posted hours of operation may be grounds for immediate suspension of pool privileges or possible termination of the lease. Management reserves the right to ask any patron to vacate the pool area at its discretion.
-NO Pets in the pool.
-Please keep the pool area clean by picking up after yourself.
General Personal Conduct Our marina is a relaxed community of boaters, and every boater here likes to have a good time and enjoy their boating time with family and friends. However, for the safety of our customers, their guests, and our staff, everyone must adhere to good and acceptable conduct while on Marina property. Drunkenness, Lude and Crude Behavior, Obscenities, Loud Music, and Disturbing or Foul Language will NOT be tolerated. Removal from the Marina and termination of your contract with the Marina will be enforced. Any engagement and purposeful damage or injury to the marina, customers, guests, marina staff members, or property will be handled appropriately with local law enforcement
