THANK YOU TO ALL OUR FANS, RACERS, TEAMS, SPONSORS, AND STAFF
Last night, we kicked off the inaugural James River Equipment Full Throttle Wednesday Night Series at Delaware International Speedway.
Race #1 was proudly hosted by Millman’s NAPA Auto Parts, and we cannot thank Tim and Debbie Millman enough for their continued support of our speedway and racing community. Debbie Millman organized a silent auction throughout the evening, with all proceeds benefiting the Harry K Foundation. Congratulations to all of the auction winners, and thank you to everyone who participated in support of such a worthy cause.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to James River Equipment. Their commitment to Delaware International Speedway and the racers and fans who support our facility has been tremendous. We encourage everyone to support the businesses that continue to invest in our racing community.
We also want to address the racing surface from last night’s event. We sincerely apologize for the abnormal track conditions experienced by our racers and fans. Following three consecutive days of sunshine, wind, and low humidity, our staff worked diligently to put moisture into the racing surface. While the track remained relatively smooth throughout the evening, the amount of dust generated was not representative of the quality of racing surface we strive to provide.
Please know that we take great pride in our facility and are committed to learning from every event. We will continue to evaluate and improve our preparation efforts to provide the best possible racing experience for our competitors and spectators.
