Sometimes the best reminder of why we do something comes months later.
This week we heard from the Grand Marsh Food Pantry in Wisconsin. Through Second Harvest, they received Kunes Trade in Hunger meal bags for the 50 to 75 families they serve every week.
Their message was simple. The food mattered, especially in summer, when pantry shelves run thin.
This is what Giving Back looks like.
Earlier this summer, Kunes teams came together for our fifth annual Trade in Hunger event with a goal of packing 250,000 meals for neighbors who needed them. Every bag goes to a pantry serving a Kunes community. Grand Marsh is proof that works.
Faith. Family. Giving Back. Not words on a wall. Core Values our teams live every day.
Thank you to our Kunes teams, our partners, and the volunteers who do this work every single week.
This is why we show up.
