2017 Honda Civic came in because the car was randomly dying out 😱 customer advised us that he already replaced the cam position sensor and was still having the same issue so he called us up for a proper diagnosis. We verified there was a cam position sensor fault so we scoped all three wires at the sensor and then went for a test drive. There wasn’t any bucking but the waveform was showing a slight drop in the signal with a slight drop in power. After removing the tape off the harness we found a previous repair that was failing! All 3 wires were repaired and now we have a clean consistent signal and no drivability problems! 👍🏼

We at Alvarado Autowerks are specialist in electrical diagnostics so swing on by with your “can’t be fixed” car! We got called out to a dealership for this 2022 Taos that has had multiple parts replaced for an electrical oil pressure circuit issue. We quickly found that there was a short to ground on ECM controlled output, it was due to a pinched wire! The dealership repaired the wire and reported back that there were no further issues 👍🏼

We’re not the only ones overheating in this weather! 🥵 This 2011 Ford ranger came in because it was overheating and after a quick test drive we determined that there was a blockage in the cooling system. After pulling off the cooling hoses and doing a visual inspection, sediment was found in the radiator causing a huge restriction in flow. Once we replaced it and bled the system this ranger now has no problem staying cool! 👍🏼🔧 call us or text us to keep you and your vehicle cool this summer! ☀️😎

2015 Hyundai Veloster got towed in after the vehicle lost power and would not restart. Starting with basic checks we found that the engine oil was very overfilled and smelled like raw gas. We determined that the fuel was getting into the crank case due to an internal leak in the high pressure fuel pump so the car is running so rich that it’s causing it to not start. After replacing the pump, spark plugs, and doing and oil change the vehicle now starts and has full power once again👍🏼 call us for a fix right the first time diagnosis! 😊🔧

During our free multipoint inspection we found that this 2015 GMC Sierra had no coolant in the reservoir. We found that the radiator was leaking to a drip after we added some coolant and started pressure testing. Customer was unaware that they even had a coolant leak but after we let them know they approved to replace and the truck is back cruising the roads 👍🏼

This 2017 Toyota Camry was brought in with a dead battery and the customer stated it was caused by the blower motor not turning off.
The second the jump pack was connected we verified the customers concern and heard the blower running even though the keys were in our pocket. After getting access to the motor we found that there is no command to the motor but it immediately comes on when plugged in. The motor is internally shorted! Customer approved and the new motor fixed the issue, no more dead batteries! 👍🏼🔧
