2009 Honda pilot came in to get some mechanical repairs after an accident! The wheel was severely out of alignment so we did a thorough visual inspection to find that it was a bent strut right where it goes into the knuckle. After replacing the entire strut assembly and a quick alignment this pilot is straight as an arrow!

2018 Honda Civic came in with multiple lights on the dashboard including ABS and BRAKE. After scanning the car there was an open circuit fault stored for the right rear parking brake motor so we performed a quick visual inspection and found that it was unplugged. Even with it correctly seated all the way the fault did not clear. We went back to the motor again and substituted a test light in place of the motor and then using output controls forced the motor on. The bulb did not light so then we started to individually check each leg of the circuit and found that it was missing ground. Luckily the problem was just behind the boot so a new pigtail will take care of this Honda! 👍🏼 Stop on by for any vehicle needs! 😊🔧🚗

Thank you to our new and returning customers and the city of DeKalb, we now have our own building located at
1796 SYCAMORE RD. DEKALB IL 60115!
We started working out of our garage in Aurora, then renting a single stall in Oswego, to renting half the space of a body shop in DeKalb, to now having our stand alone space! Our pinpoint diagnostics and excellent electrical troubleshooting have brought us customers from all over the area and we will continue to fairly get everyone’s car repaired and back on the road!

2019 GLI came in for a 4 wheel brake job and a DSG service! These transmissions are very sensitive to oil level and we have many years of experience to make sure your transmissions shifts better than when it came in! 😊👍🏼 to top it off we preformed a brake flush to renew the entire brake system! 🚗🔧

This MINI Cooper came in to have their brakes replaced but after we removed the wheels all components still had lots of life left. The service brakes light was on the dash so we started to diagnose a pad wear sensor issue. We quickly found that it was two broken wires causing an open on the circuit which flagged the warning light. For honest electrical work call or text us to get you in!

Headlights not working? Call us for the correct diagnostic! This S10 had both headlights out caused by a missing ground in the circuit. With the wiring diagram up we checked multiple components and circuits but in the end the problem was found. The ground passes through the fuse panel and the inlet wire was burned! This was caused by high resistance due to the terminal being spread open, this causes heat and created our issue. We replaced the pin and wire and we have lights!💡🔧🚗

2010 Subaru Forester came in after the customer noticed the car was severely overheating and found that the upper radiator hose connection was broken. Once the radiator was replaced we pressure tested to verify our repair but found that the thermostat housing was also leaking! We pressure tested for a third time and after about 30 minutes there was no drop indicating that the system was sealed👍🏼. For fixed right the first time repairs come see us at Alvarado Autowerks! 💯🔧

2015 Chevy Colorado came in leaking oil to a drip. We found that it was coming from the timing cover and took on the reseal job. All one time use gaskets and seals are replaced along with new crank pulley bolt. Call us to get your GM repaired!
