Today, we are saddened to share the passing of retired Itasca County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Gunderson Badge #731

Ryan dedicated many years of his life to serving the citizens of Itasca County with honor, professionalism, and compassion. Throughout his career, he answered the call to protect others and made a lasting impact on our office, his fellow deputies, and the community he served.

On behalf of the men and women of the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office, we extend our deepest condolences to Ryan’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. We ask our community to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Ryan’s service and commitment to Itasca County will not be forgotten. We are grateful for the legacy he leaves behind and the difference he made in the lives of so many.
