Not bad for only 2 days, started it yesterday, sprayed this afternoon, you would think we are almost done but now 2-4 days of sanding and polishing.

Some times the finish work takes as long or longer than the actual repairs.

To many ppl get auto motive urethane confused with gelcoat, they are not a like at all, once you spray gelcoat the work has started.

Anytime you can get to the back side this is the way to do it. Big thank you to my boat mechanic friend Jeff Wheatley for removing all the components making life a lot easier for me to do this job. 😊

Grind a good size area from the inside with your outer layer tying into good, grind down fairly deep and lay your glass to the bad in this case I laid in a total of 4 CSM and 1 layer of 1708, once it cures you will grind from the outside in until you remove all the damage glass up against your new you just put in, now you have good glass to build off of with out trying to make shape from a large hole. 👍

Always sucks ass for a body guy when you think it's going to be simple then you look at it and say better do a backing patch, open lid and see everything your going to have to remove just to get to the problem. 🙄
This one isn't even terrible some of the other boats I've ran into it's seriously like how and wth is all of this.

All boat body guys can and should relate I'm sure.
