Shoutout to our own Matt Demmer, GM of our two amazing stores, Jack Demmer Lincoln and Jack Demmer Ford, for sharing his insights on Lincoln’s 2025 sales with Automotive News! Leadership, vision, and results — Matt’s setting the pace for dealers everywhere. 🙌
In what could have been a difficult year with new tariffs on their bestselling vehicle, Lincoln dealers performed better in 2025 than in 2024.
Sales for the brand rose 2 percent behind strong demand for the imported Nautilus and recently redesigned Navigator.
Now Matt Demmer, chairman of the Lincoln National Dealer Council, will have to steer the brand’s retailers through more upheaval. Lincoln late last year ended production of the entry-level Corsair crossover as the Ford brand discontinued the Escape.
Demmer, general manager of Jack Demmer Automotive Group, which includes a Lincoln store in Dearborn, Mich., said it will be difficult to pull off a third consecutive year of sales growth after losing one of the brand’s four products. But he remains optimistic that Lincoln is on sound footing.
Demmer, 44, spoke with Staff Reporter Michael Martinez about the brand’s sales growth, headwinds from tariffs and where Corsair customers might go next.
